Actress Natalie Portman and choreographer Benjamin Millepied have officially divorced, finalizing their separation after quietly filing last year. The news comes from People magazine, which confirms the details through a representative for Portman.

Portman, 42, reportedly filed for divorce in July 2023. The couple, who share two children together, had been living in France. The divorce was finalized in February 2024.
Sources close to the couple reveal that the separation wasn’t entirely smooth, with rumors of an extramarital affair by Millepied surfacing in May 2023. While details remain private, a friend of the couple confided in People that “navigating their under-the-radar separation” was challenging for Portman. However, they added that her friends provided significant support during this difficult time.
Portman and Millepied’s relationship blossomed on the set of the critically acclaimed film Black Swan, where Millepied served as choreographer and Portman trained extensively for her Oscar-winning role. They married in 2012 and have remained relatively private throughout their marriage.
