Jack Depp’s Health: Respecting Privacy During Difficult Times
Vanessa Paradis reportedly missed the premiere of her latest film to be with her 16-year-old son, Jack Depp, who is experiencing serious health issues.
The 45-year-old French musician and actress was absent from the Paris debut of her movie A Knife in the Heart on Tuesday. Director Yann Gonzalez revealed her absence was due to her son’s illness. “Unfortunately, Vanessa Paradis could not join us tonight; she had to stay with her son, who has serious health problems,” Gonzalez announced at the screening, according to French outlet Public.

Representatives for both Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have yet to respond to requests for comments from PEOPLE.
Paradis and Depp, who were together from 1998 to 2012, share two children: 19-year-old Lily-Rose Depp and 16-year-old Jack, whose full name is John Christopher Depp III.
This news emerges while Johnny Depp is currently touring Europe with his band, The Hollywood Vampires. The group, featuring rock legends Joe Perry of Aerosmith and Alice Cooper, has been performing across Russia and Germany.

“Johnny is enjoying his time on tour, playing with the guys,” a source told PEOPLE about the actor. Despite concerns over Depp’s appearance, with reports noting he looked thin while signing autographs outside the Four Seasons Hotel in St. Petersburg, Russia earlier this month, the source assured that Depp is “healthy.”
